What are cable restrictors?

Jackloc cable restrictors come in permanently fixed and key-lockable options, and can be fitted to uPVC, aluminium and timber window frames. The restrictors are supplied with a 200m cable, and independently cable tested to withstand a force of 3,000 newtons (48 stone), exceeding UKAS BS EN 14351-1:2006 and BS EN 13126-5:2011 testing criteria.

Titan by Jackloc

The steel mechanism in the Titan by Jackloc makes it the strongest and most secure window restrictor. It has been tested to withstand a force of 4,800 newtons, or the equivalent of five adult males, exceeding all British Standard requirements by nearly 10 times. The Titan by Jackloc provides extra security for open windows, and has been awarded Sold Secure status by the Master Locksmiths Association. This makes it the first, and only, window restrictor to achieve this accolade. The restrictor can fit most window sizes and types, including uPVC, Timber and Aluminium.
