A Perry No.20/4L Medium Suffolk Gate Latch Set 108mm Black
This Suffolk latch is a classic design that has been around since the late 19th century and suits many rural environments. The latch comes in three parts; the back plate carries the lever and hinged thumb latch. This is mounted on one side of the gate or door with a slot cut in the wood to allow the lever to pass through to the other side. The hinged latch assembly is mounted on the other side of the door in a position where the latch bar will be lifted up by the lever. The keep is mounted on the doorframe or gatepost at a height where the latch bar will drop easily into it, holding the gate or door closed.
