A Perry No.2701M/SE M6 Threaded Bar 1m (L) Zinc Plated is manufactured from mild steel that makes it durable. Used as fasteners to non-permanently join objects together, threaded bar (also known as threaded rod, allthread and stud) is a length of mild steel with thread cut into it resembling a headless bolt. The thread is created through thread rolling and can be applied across the entire length of the material, on one end or both. To create a product with greater strength, hardness, and wear resistance, this process is carried out when the the component is cold. The thread direction is right handed which means that a clockwise rotation will tighten the fastener to the bar or rod.
