Traditionally used on a ledge and braced door, a suffolk latch set is a decorative door latch with a thumb shaped lever. When the thumb shaped lever is pressed down, it operates a thumb bar which passes through the door lifting the latch bar on the opposite side causing it to open. Backplate dimensions: 218mm (L) x 45mm (W) x 4mm (T), handle length: 100mm, thumb bar length: 120mm, latch length: 243mm, projection: 52mm.
