Eurospec Heavy Sprung Tubular Latch is ideal to use with lever door knobs and handles to keep the door in latched position when closed. The diameter of the product is 64mm and is available in grey or satin. It is a bolt through the latch, which accepts bolts through fixings in the lock itself. The strike-plate and the face-plate are to be recessed into the frame and the door respectively. Backset is measured from the front of the latch to the middle of the spindle hole. It has been tested to the British Standard BS EN 12209. It has been CE and Certifier tested. Made in the United Kingdom, this latch is used in both commercial and domestic purposes. The company was incorporated in 1986 and is based in Carlisle, United Kingdom.
